Edited by: Kane Rizzel on 28/07/2008 21:09:44 Could someone from CCP please give details on what will happen to the multi Billion ISK implants in my current Snake Clone that will occupy the same slot.
As it is I stand to lose two of either a HG SNnake Omega, Shaqil's Speed Enhancer or a Rogue MY-2. Of course on SiSi they are all still plugged in but like the last time you nerfed speed rigs, will I log in to find ISK lost?
Would be nice if CCP would talk to us instead of letting the rampant frothing at the mouth continue. At least give us some idea of whether you are listening to any of the threads, if anything has sunk in and what you disagree/agree with.
Edit: the reason I spent multiple billions on implants and gear was to set speed records of which I hold several class records. I don't generally fly nanoed ships as I prefer DPS over speed. Nano ships also don't play well under sentry fire as I'm a solo lowsec pirate. I'd just like clarification on the whole thing from CCP please

ECM becomes more overpowered with these changes as it will now be harder to get fast ships to force Falcons to disengage.
Lowsec PvP is not nano based as they tend to not fair well against sentries of stations and gates where 90% of lowsec combat occurs. SO I suspect Atropos is pulling figures out of his "Censored"

Quote: Nanos right now are no different than ECM and damps were before they got nerfed into line.
Have you fought against a gang with Falcons recently?
ECM just became more overpowered as forcing them out of an engagement is much, much more difficult now

Thoradin, please stop using ECM being nerfed as an argument because it shows you have no idea about contemporary combat in EVE where Falcons are the first thing used in over 90% of any meaningful engagement.
Guess what kind of ship the Falcon is and I'll give you a hint... NO NANOS

Heh, funny thing is that is Ifni, who is famous for his High speed Crusader.
How's it feel to have the ship you love ruined by the people you now work for?
For the record, my Crusader which set the Interceptor speed record of 63km/s (Max skirmish Claymore pilot, Strong X-Instinct and overheating) now only goes 12km/s overheated with a max skirmish skilled Claymore pilot (X-Instinct no longer gives a speed boost)

But how can you seriously be so against blobs while blobbing yourself? I've seen it time and time again where nano gangs blob, even if it's against a couple of mining ships. It doesn't matter, nanos blob.
How come a blob of nanos is considered intelligent and tactical fleet warfare and everything else disorganized blobs?
You're Hydra so 5 words for you "They can't target our bunch!"
A fast moving guerilla gang is not a blob in the traditional sense, the fact your lone ratting ships was caught in a belt is not due to a blob but your lack of keeping an eye on an Intel channel or the complete lack of people providing Intel for the betterment of your alliance instead of their own selfish needs.
Other than that, Viper makes a very good post and I hope CCP take the time to read it and hopefully understand it
